Heads up, Dallas. A new sports bar is gearing up to hit the scene. The Vancouver-founded Shark Club is setting up to open an outpost in Northlake this August.
Shark Club opens its second U.S. outpost inside the Children’s Health StarCenter in Northlake on August 7. The 5,000-square-foot sports bar will feature 37 screens for gameday viewing and an outdoor patio overlooking the complex’s pickleball courts.
The menu carries over staples from the original Plano location, serving up burgers, shared plates, and entrees alongside a few new location-specific dishes. Attached to the Dallas Stars-affiliated youth athletics facility, the bar aims to cater directly to local fans, families, and teams grabbing food after a tournament or practice.
“Sports have always had a unique ability to bring people together, but the most meaningful moments often happen before the game starts and long after the final whistle,” said Tom Gaglardi, owner of the Dallas Stars and CEO of Northland Properties.
“Our goal was to create a place where families, teams and fans can connect, celebrate and build traditions of their own. North Texas remains an important growth market for Shark Club, and we’re excited to continue building our presence here and across the U.S.”
Shark Club opens in Northlake at 13850 Chadwick Parkway on August 7. Once open, the bar’s hours of operations will be from 11 am to 11 pm Monday through Thursday; from 11 am to midnight on Fridays; from 10 am to midnight on Saturdays and from 10 am to 11 pm on Sundays.
The bar presently have a location open at 8451 Parkwood Blvd in Plano.
