Last year, Michelin introduced its inaugural edition of the Texas Michelin Guide. In total, the revered culinary tastemakers and tire company awarded 15 One Michelin Star ratings, with only one landing in the DFW-area – going to the 10-seat, Omakase-style sushi restaurant, Tatsu. As of last night, the Big D is now officially a binary star city as the Texas Michelin Guide second edition awarded Mamani with a One Michelin Star rating!
Michelin introduced the Texas Michelin Guide 2025 Edition at a ceremony in Wortham Theater Center in Houston. In total, Michelin awarded three One Michelin Star ratings, eight new Bib Gourmands, as well as two Green Star ratings, and 16 Michelin Recommended eateries.

Notably, Dallas’ Mamani restaurant, located at 2681 Howell Rd., #BU4, was one of only three Texas restaurants to secure a Michelin Star rating.
Here’s what Michelin had to say about Mamani:
With this glitzy, well-appointed hotspot, Chef Christophe De Lellis brings an impressive pedigree to Dallas, having led the kitchen at Vegas’s Restaurant Joël Robuchon for nearly a decade. The bistronomie-style menu of elevated simple plates is offered à la carte, though the prices are still nothing to sniff at. Diners looking to indulge will get their money’s worth, however: top-drawer ingredients, faultless technique and world-class sauces are evident throughout. Shareable portions like Dover sole with brown butter or veal “Cordon Bleu” (served with Robuchon’s signature butter-laden pommes purée, naturally) are impressive, but do save room for a pitch-perfect Paris-Brest with praline cream. A tremendous wine list makes for worthwhile reading.
However, Mamani isn’t the only DFW restaurant to shine in Texas Michelin Guide Second Edition. The 2025 edition also distinguished Dallas restaurant, Sushi Kozy, with Michelin Recommended status.
