‘Tis the season.
It’s hard to imagine that any other state could rep a local fast food chain harder than Texas does Whataburger. In celebration of the holidays, the flying W is giving the people the chance to don their classic orange colors with a new line of ugly Christmas apparel and seasonal trinkets.
Green and red are the typical Christmas colors, but maybe this is the year to add a little bright orange to your seasonal wardrobe. Iconic 24-hour burger chain, Whataburger has unveiled their new line of seasonal merchandise that includes a series of sweaters, socks, matching scarf, and toboggan, and more.
“Sweater weather just got better,” said Evan Mimms, Whataburger correspondent, in a news alert. “Beginning [November 10], Whataburger’s new holiday sweater is finally here, and it’s the most festive yet!”
Festive it is, last year’s sweater bore the the Corpus Christi-based chains’ signature orange and white colors in scattered imagery featuring a cheeseburger, fries, and Santa Clause, along with related slogans like “Just like you like it,” and “open 24 hours.”
This year’s sweater, however, features a tasteful addition of greens and blues in the form of wreathes around the collar, patterned trees, and strands of Christmas lights. The Whataburger name is branded tastefully across the chest. Available from sizes adult small to adult 3xl, fans of the chain can cop their sweater for $42.99.
Fans can also get socks to match for $12.99, as well as the beanie and scarf set for $24.99. If you’re looking for stocking stuffers, Whataburger is also selling a LEGO-like buildable Whataburger restaurant, as well as holiday table tents – you know the ones.
