Plus, the company releases new line of pajamas to commemorate their new all-day breakfast.
Dallas-founded 7-Eleven convenience store is making it easier for the public to get their tacos and Big Gulps with the installation of its new, and, first drive-thru at its Evolution store in Dallas at Park Lane and Abrams Road.
The company first opened its Evolution store back in 2019, in which it could test out new convenience and culinary concepts. Its opening included the incorporation of Laredo Taco, the company’s first store to do so after acquiring the company a year before.
Now, the facility is testing out its latest concept – the drive-thru.
From 5 am – 10 pm Sundays through Thursdays, and 5 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, their drive-thru will be open serving tacos from its Laredo Taco Company.
The menu includes chorizo, carne asada, beef barbacoa, egg, and carnitas tacos made with homemade tortillas.
Of course, customers can also order their favorite 7-Eleven beverage, whether its their Slurpee, Big Gulp, fresh-brewed coffee, as well as other traditional canned and bottled beverages totaling to 30 options.
“While opening the first Laredo Taco Company drive-thru restaurant with a 7-Eleven store would be exciting any time, we think customers looking for socially distanced ways to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner will really appreciate it now,” said 7‑Eleven executive vice president and chief operating officer, Chris Tanco.
Their Evolution location also features a unique dine-in experience. In addition to having their meal inside the facility, customers can also order a frozen Laredo Taco margarita as well as beer and wine.
“7-Eleven is known as a beverage destination, and Laredo Taco Company makes some of the best quick-serve Mexican food anywhere,” said Tanco. “Throw in the convenience of grabbing a taco paired with a Slurpee drink through a drive-thru, and it’s a match made in heaven.”
7-Eleven also debuted a recent line of PJs to promote their all-day breakfast campaign.
