Mindful Glow invites everyone to switch off from the constant noise, distractions and deadlines. You’ll be surprised by how much sitting in a room, lit solely by candles, and consciously breathing, can do for you.
This revitalizing experience will be illumintating Edison’s at 1724 Cockrell Avenue—an elegant events venue. On July 29, Edison’s is swapping out their usual luncheons and wedding receptions for a day centering on serenity and mindfulness.
Once you enter into the candlelit setting, you’ll immediately be put at ease and ready for a 60-minute spell of concentrated breathing and internal awareness. Use the provided blankets and pillows for maximum comfort and prepare for a transformational journey. A practitioner with more than 10 years of experience will instruct the session and guide you through several breathwork exercises and calming meditation.
Whether you practice meditation on the daily or are a beginner, the Mindful Glow experience welcomes everyone to hit reset surrounded by the comforting glow of flickering candles. What’s more, with three sessions taking place on the day, at 11:30 am, 1:15 pm, and 3:00 pm, you can select a time that suits you best. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, but if not, you can rent one when completing your purchase.
Although it is only one session, you might find yourself adding some of the things you learn into your own routine.
