It’s Christmas, but instead of Baby Jesus it’s Baby Yoda.
This holiday season, it’ll be the Santa-lorian coming down the chimney – at least at the Ill Minster Pub. The pub has decked their halls in the likeness of the Galactic Empire for Jedis and Sith-lords alike to celebrate The Force of the holiday spirit.
The pop-up first launched in Uptown Urban Market back in February. Since then, it’s paid homage to the George Lucas-created empire with themed cocktails, intergalactic decor, and studio-quality mannequins.
“CALLING ALL REBELS AND EMPIRE,” the pub wrote in an Instagram post. “The ILL Minster Pub is officially home to the geek fandom that is STAR WARS. Complete with a themed shot wheel and cocktail menu, all the photo ops of your nerd dreams, paint nights, SW trivia, + more!”
“Come see our life-size Vader, hanging Millennium Falcon, Baby Yoda, and our in-house resident DJ, CHEWY!”
Such drinks have included a Princess Leia-inspired libation – comes with mini cinnamon buns, a Baby Yoda-looking cocktail, a Wookiemelon, and a Han Solo drink which comes in a – you guess it – solo cup.
During the holiday season, the Ill Minster Pub have got out their Christmas lights as well as their lightsabers, with festive balloons orbiting its atmosphere, floating wreaths, and stormtroopers donning holiday hats. As no pop-up in complete without something to eat, the pub is also serving up Puffy Tacos from Taco Wasted.
The Starwars pop-up saga at Ill Minster Pub will run until January, although no official end date has been announced.
