3. Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark
Open year-round, Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is a sprawling 80,000-square-foot indoor waterpark in Grand Prairie. The waterpark has consistently placed among the best waterparks in the country by USA Today.
Equipped with an epic retractable vault-glass roof, the venue features 12 water slides including the nation’s tallest indoor water loop, the Lasso Loop.

NRH20 Family Water Park in North Richland Hills was the state’s first municipal water park. Was began in 1995 as a park with a couple slides, wading pool, and river, is now a sprawling 17-acre aquatic amusement park packed with 23 exciting attractions.
Having received numerous accolades, the DFW-area waterpark features multiple rides ranging from the more thrilling to the more vacation-mode chilling.
Throughout the park, NRH20 offers a variety of bungalows, cabanas, and lounges to chill-ify your stay. Numerous dining options are also available offering everything from nachos to pizza, frozen drinks, and veggie burgers. Alcohol is not sold, nor permitted in the park.

8. Wet Zone Waterpark
Recently reopened after a year of renovations, Wet Zone Waterpark in Rowlett is back and better than ever. The beloved community waterpark is home to a colorful array of slides, 25-foot lap pool, and lazy river. Furthermore, the park is also a favorite for its “Flick & Float” movie nights and other special events.

9. Pirates’ Cove Fun Zone
Set sail on the seas of the Pirates’ Cove Fun Zone in Burleson, TX. Located about 20 miles south of Fort Worth, the pirate-themed waterpark features 11 water slides, three beach-style pools, and a 750-foot lazy river.
Furthermore, the waterpark features pirate-themed play structures, an arcade, ropes course, vertical plank climbing wall, as well as a Hologate VR arena. The venue also features a variety of dining establishments on-site.

10. Frisco Waterpark
Frisco Waterpark is a fun and affordable gem of a waterpark located at 5828 Nancy Jane Ln. While you won’t find the wild assortment of thrill rides as you would for larger parks, Friso Waterpark does feature the 45-foot Preston Plunge mat racer slide and The Pipeline & Green Gusher slide as well as a lazy river, splash station, and treehouse.
Frisco Waterpark is also home to The Lagoon, an expansive pool designed for relaxation. The venue does include a snack bar with concessions available at good prices. If it doesn’t do it for you, visitors can bring their own food. Alcohol is not sold on-site.
