For those whose plans were to spend the holiday season traveling to warmer, beachier climates, let us offer you a local compromise. Deep Ellum’s dark, Latin-inspired cocktail lounge hit the scene back in mid October as a rustic hideaway with agave-based cocktails. For the holidays, it’s turning into a little winter wonderland.
Stacked with two snow machines, one behind the bar, and one floating from the open air ceiling, wreathes, garlands, and other magical decorations, Yellow Rosa delights customers with periodical snowfall.
Yellow Rosa offers a series of house cocktails, frozen and on-the-rocks margaritas, as well as other specialty drinks including Moon Bubbles – a frozen mimosa concoction mixing in champagne, OJ, and Blue Moon.
Food wise, Yellow Rosa serves a variety of dishes from small plates of elotes, achiote wings, and Soy Negro Aguachila, that is, mesquite charred ribeye, soy agua, avocado, shrimp, watermelon radish, cucumber, serrano, shallot, and tostada chips.
Lastly, Yellow Rosa offers a number of assorted tacos served with corn tortillas, cilantro, and onions.
Yellow Rosa is open from Thursday – Sunday.
